A Broadcast Journalism, Psychology and Spanish triple major graduate of Lynchburg College in Virginia , Joan Marie discovered her Intuitive abilities around the age of five. Throughout her teenage years, Joan Marie’s clairvoyant abilities increased with more vivid messages in dreams in addition to the rising number of visits from deceased relatives. She is third generation in her family with this gift.
In 1994, Joan Marie was severely injured in a car accident that she foresaw days before the actual event. She interprets this personal tragedy (which took her eight years to recuperate from) as an escape from death and as the sign of the angels protecting her. Ever since this event, Joan Marie’s abilities became more apparent as she soon realized that her purpose was assisting individuals in major life changes. Joan Marie can see, hear and feel the emotions of those who have passed on. She also frequently receives messages from Angels and Spirit Guides who communicate with her.
To support her abilities, Joan Marie Whelan has trained with Brian Weiss, MD, Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami and has taken Counseling courses through the International Conference on Science and Consciousness. She is also a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, a Master Results Coach, a Master in Hypnosis, and studied Advanced Neurological Repatterning.
In addition, she specializes in grounding meditations, teaching individuals how to live and be in the present moment. She demonstrates her Intuitive and Medium skills by sharing her gifts–being clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient – during various seminars and events traveling across the United States . Joan Marie loves teaching! She uses her skills to help you create a life that flows easily and effortlessly.
