Dear Friend:
I flew back to LA this past week for meetings with my Platinum Mastermind Group held at a luxurious hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. This group consists of twelve dynamic men and women who are successful entrepreneurs looking to make a difference in the lives of others as they grow their individual businesses. During the 48 hours with the group I had a big “Aha” moment. You see, at the end of August I made a major decision for myself -personally and professionally. This choice affected many people. I felt that the decision was right and it felt good to me; but the stress and fancy footwork that was required of me to follow through had many repercussions that also affected my entire team.
During the meetings with my Mastermind Group, I shared my experience, actually looking for validation – I wanted to hear what the others had to say about my decision. I realize now that I needed to truly know and understand if my choices were wise choices for me and I was seeking the approval of my peers.
Looking back over the entire event and the scenario that led up to the event, I realized that I had not experienced any stress or anxiety over my decision. I honored my choices and as I did, blessings started coming in from different directions; however, I soon realized that this only happened when I started focusing on “receiving.” Read on to see the outcome of my big “Aha” moment; this story just might help you too.

Make a Decision that is Right for YOU!
Speak up and have the courage to do what is right for you. Everyone has opinions and thoughts as to what might be right for you. The truth is no one walks in your shoes and no one can make decisions for you. The most important life choices come from your heart and soul because you hold the key as your own Intuitive Expert.
“How,” you might ask, “will I know if the decision I make is right for me?” Decisions are only right when they feel good to you and you are satisfied with your outcome. As an Intuitive Expert, your focus and intention are on you and your feelings. Your job as an Intuitive Expert is not to get caught up with what others are thinking and saying about you. .
Utilizing your intuitive talents is a gift and it is poised to create great opportunities for you to take charge of your life and be the Intuitive Expert and master of your ship.
Like everything else in life, using your intuitive talents takes practice and you must be comfortable in your skin and your decisions. As an Intuitive Expert, it t is so important on a regular basis to check in with your emotions. I am sure there is a signal, a sign or feeling that you get when you are right on and in-tune with your intuitive talents. As an Intuitive Expert, you discover the sign, signal or feeling that lets you know you are in balance; rely on it always because that is your soul working with you to guide your path.
Begin making great decisions everyday that assist you in becoming the Intuitive Expert you were born to be. As an Intuitive Expert, you are able to assist others to take responsibility for their actions and stand up for what is best for them. As you continue to clear out the old heavy and dirty baggage from your past, the Intuitive Expert in you assists you in igniting and strengthening your intuition. Your heart opens wider as you move into alignment and hear your Intuitive Expert in a clear and accurate voice.

I spoke with you on the evening of June 5, 2007 (I think). I was worried about a number of things, particularly selling my home which had been on and off the market for at least a year. I was still with a male realtor at the time and had been thinking of looking for someone less pushy, but definitely competent.
Previously, I was with another male realtor who helped stage and paint my house; we received several offers and would have sold it if not for the bad advice received from this realtor.
Among other wonderful things you shared with me, you said you saw my house selling between June and August and you saw a woman selling the home. You also said that I needed to ask my deceased Dad, who often visits and connects with me, for help in finding a female realtor to help in the sale of my house. He was around me a lot and he wanted to make amends for past hurts. You further mentioned that my deceased mom visited regularly and was often with me in my car.
Those were very encouraging words and gave me strength to keep going. Subsequently, I found a very competent female realtor who staged my home and even brought in some of her furniture and paintings to make the home more attractive.
As you predicted, my house did sell! I signed a contract with a young couple who fell in love with the home on 07.07.07! We closed escrow on 08.09.07. My daughter and I are preparing to move abroad so I can pursue graduate studies and she can be in a private school.
Previously, I felt like I had to work very hard to in order to get things for myself, but now I am taking to heart your words of wisdom to allow the Universe to give to me and be willing to receive my gifts and blessings. I listen to our recorded telephone conversation now and then just to refresh my memory and remind me to TRUST.

Joan Marie – I really enjoy reading your newsletter.
We have spoken about this on the phone before so I am asking again for guidance. I am worried about my brother and I wonder how I might offer comfort and assistance.
He seems isolated and angry. I also worry that he has a secret that he hides within himself. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

So often people call me for an appointment to talk about someone they care greatly about. The best advice I feel I can share is: “Pray for strength and courage for that person. We do not have the power within us to change another individual. The only way anyone can change is when they are in a place of strength and ready to see things differently.
A great tip is when you go to bed at night, ask your soul to connect and speak to the other person's soul and let them know that they can bring into their lives the blessings needed to move into a better place and possibly create greater opportunities.. Ask your soul to shower lots of love on their soul. See them surrounded by pure love. It is also very important to continue to reach out, be a cheer leader for them, and share what you see as the blessings in your life. Without boosting, talk about the positive changes you are choosing for yourself and how those changes have helped you grow.
Two powerful questions that I try to direct to others are: “What do you see as blessings in your life? Can you name a few?” This starts their thinking mind process to change direction and focus on what they do have and not what they feel might be lacking. It is important to remember: “What we focus on expands.”
