I saw a great commercial as I was watching one of my favorite pastimes, a baseball game. In the commercial everyone was looking into a window and could see the end result of where they wanted to be in life. It was as if they arrived safely at their destination.
The face of each person as they peered into the window was one of sheer delight. They were excited to see they arrived and it felt good.
Imagine realizing that every day you wake up you can work towards your end result. It is all about how you can improve your state of mind to create a state of wealth in your life. I ask you only one question, "What is stopping you?" As we get older I believe it is more important than ever to take responsibility for all of your life. Now maybe some of you disagree with my statement, but I wonder: "How many of you are carrying your old baggage, your old story right on your back?" Do you sometimes feel that the weight is becoming more burdensome?
Our state of mind is everything. You need to realize that all of your thoughts leading up to a situation assist with creating the outcome for your event. When our mind gets the best of us it is tough to stay strong, focused and on track. It is tough when you feel as if you do not have the support needed to create what you are looking for in life. So what do you do? How does one focus on the end result of what s/he wants when many of us have no idea how to begin?
I will tell you – you need clarity in the exact direction you wish to head. You need a strong sense of determination and perseverance within yourself and you need to feel the end result as if you are already there. Our minds are powerful tools that can help us along or stop us short in our tracks. This is only the beginning step and you will need to be on a schedule and feel supported.

Is Your Physical Appearance Matching Your Mindset?
Are you living the Manifestation Method to your fullest potential? Many years ago, I was introduced to a woman; a single parent of four young children, who was often challenged by many situations and needs. She had gone back to work in a career, allowing her to be home when the children were home. As the sole support of herself and her children, she never thought of herself as unfortunate or lacking. She always put her best foot forward regardless of financial difficulties, and maintained a physical wealthy appearance others admired.
She always dressed impeccably, giving the outward appearance that everything in her life was flowing easily and effortlessly. More importantly, she felt rich and beautiful. She was using the "Manifestation Method" without even realizing it. She knew in her heart it was important to dress as richly as possible because that was the feeling and mindset she wanted to project to herself and to the world. It is what I call the wealthy appearance. She had no room in her life for the "woo is me" syndrome. Innately using the Manifestation Method, she understood in order for her to rise above challenging times, she needed to do whatever it took to develop and maintain the rich feeling, the rich atmosphere, the rich look. She was preparing herself to create the life she desired for herself and her children.
Speaking of financial challenges and limitations keeps too many of us in the poorhouse because we continually send those limiting thoughts into the Universe. Using the Manifestation Method, you don’t think of yourself as poor or needy. And when you facilitate the Manifestation Method, you don’t talk about your hard times or shortcomings -hat is why they multiply. This is the time to think rich thoughts, wealthy and prosperity thoughts as you maintain a wealthy appearance. Stand tall; carry yourself as though you just won the lottery. Smile with an air of joy and abundance. With the Manifestation Method, know that this is who you are and what you are manifesting.
Through the Manifestation Method, you have written down your desires, changed your thoughts, enhanced your feelings and strengthened your beliefs. All of this is moving you closer to manifesting your desires. It only stands to reason that improving your physical wealthy appearance should be your next step. QUESTION
Hi Joan Marie, I heard you on the Whoopie show and I think you're great! I have a question for you about something that happened to me that I've only shared with 2 people...my husband and my brother.
About 10 years ago on the day of my grandmother’s funeral we had a get together at her house after the funeral. My mother made food and was supposed to pick it up at her house before heading over to my grandmothers. My mom had enough to worry about so I told her that I would go to her house and pick it up instead.
When I went inside the house there was a black bird sitting in the middle of the living room floor. Not a crow, but a simple black bird. Now, it was fall and the windows weren't open and my parents didn't have a fireplace. There's really no explanation on how the bird got in. The bird was very calm, so calm in fact that I thought it was hurt. I walked right up to the bird and it didn't fly and barely walked away. I was really surprised and not quite sure what to do, so I decided to take the bathroom garbage can and put it over the bird. Then I put a newspaper underneath and carried it outside. When I lifted the can the bird didn't fly away. It just sat there. Not knowing what to do, I just stared at it for a while then nudged it. It then flew off. As I look back on this incident I keep thinking it must have been my grandmother.
When it occurred I think I was too surprised to think anything through. Do you think it was? And what does a bird symbolize in death? Was this a good thing? I often think that if it was my grandmother that this sign was meant for my mother because I showed up unexpected.
Just for a little background on me.... I consider myself to be a bit in tune with my psychic ability. Several years ago I experienced very strange happenings in an old friend’s house. I heard many things over they course of a couple years and once saw a ghost in the house. Any insight on this incident would be greatly appreciated. It has been on my mind for years.

JOAN MARIE'S ANSWER
This question leaves great food for thought for all of us. Yes, I do believe it was your grandmother. However, she knew you were coming to the house so the message was meant for you. Black can be a very powerful color symbolizing career, finances and improvement to another level. A bird is transformation. At the time of your grandmother's death, you were probably going through a period of great transformation, healing and growth. It is possible that you were not ready for what the Universe had in mind for you at that time. Only you know that.
I do believe that when loved ones cross over, many times they can come back in a symbolic form to let us know they are still with us and to bring us comfort. When an experience like this happens you can say to the animal and/or bird: "I am listening; what is it you wish for me to know?" You can always have a conversation with animals and/or birds. Believe me when I say, "they know what we are saying and they hear your words."
QUESTION
When I was younger I used to see things and felt things. When I told my mother she would just look at me, then after a few times as she witnessed this she started to call me a witch. I then stopped paying attention to my visions and feelings. I still get them but they are like a puzzle to me now. I have had two near death experiences but both times my father came to me and told me it was not my time and go back. Both my parents have passed away. I have dreams of my mother and my father and my brother- in-law but I don’t always understand the message of the dream. Could you help?

JOAN MARIE'S ANSWER
This is a great and powerful question. Many years ago I said to a client of mine this statement and I considered it as a compliment, "you are a witch." What I meant by that was she as you are; and as many of us are very intuitive people who see, hear and know. We have the ability to see things, feel things and know things before they will happen. The term "witch" was used hundreds of years ago and was also brought up in many fairy tales to discuss and talk about this great phenomenon that seemed to frighten so many. It is usually thought of as a female who has special powers. There are good witches and bad witches in every time period and in every movie even to this day.
Your gifts frightened your mother and she did not understand them; that is why she reacted the way she did. She was uncertain on how to support you. A powerful statement to say is "I belong here." This will help you stop creating other circumstances and choices. Start focusing on an easier way of life and ask the Universe to give you the guidance in how to make this happen. In order to better define your dreams you need to better define you.
In order for you to gain better clarity in receiving messages from your loved ones you must have clarity within yourself. You must heal from any hurts, pains and rejection of your past. The only way I have become a brilliant Intuitive is I am always cleaning my emotional house, listening to the higher beings above, in other words, doing my work. Being a team player with my Angels, Spirit Guides, and loved ones is a beautiful gift. I always ask the Christ and the Blessed Mother to be on my team or you can call in your God force. For me, the Christ represents powerful love, strength and courage and I call in their energy to help me be stronger and wiser as I continue on my journey here on earth. The Blessed Mother energy to me is pure unconditional love. I have asked her in the past to please teach me unconditional love in my dreams and she has.
